Hey, fellow travel lovers, I’m Maria – founder of Roambu.
I’ve planned 200+ trips across 20+ countries – solo, with friends, family, and for work. From hiking volcanoes to curating group getaways, I’ve felt the pressure of trying to make everyone happy – and the joy when it works.
Before Roambu, I worked in tech – as an engineer, consultant, and account lead for enterprise software. I’ve handled million-pound deals, led high-stakes projects, and built trust with top-tier clients. Now, I’m combining that experience with my passion for travel to make group planning better for everyone.
Where we’re going
We’re starting with friend groups and casual travelers – but Roambu is built for more. From intimate escapes to big reunions or celebration trips, the platform already supports any group size. We’re focused on refining the experience to make group travel effortless at every level.
